New Bern
Established in 1710, New Bern is the second oldest town in North Carolina. Named capital of North Carolina for only a short period of time, it was the center of government and political prestige. But before the Europeans came, the Tuscarora Indians settled in a village called Chattoka.

Moving to North Carolina gave me a life full of fortune and happiness. The land here makes it easier to grow cash crops and earn money. North Carolina is mostly small tobacco farmers. The reason Europeans should come to North Carolina because there is abundance of land that Europeans could earn money off of and the society was mostly made up wealthy planters and merchants and the you could be one of the them!! |
